Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
Up above the world so far.
One night, as bright as can be,
A little star looked down to see.

The star saw a child fast asleep,
Dreaming dreams both wide and deep.
With a twinkle in its light,
It decided to grant a wish that night.

Down it shot, so fast and bright,
Leaving behind a trail of light.
Through the heavens, it did fly,
On a journey way up high.

At the child's window, it did appear,
Showering stardust, oh so clear.
Granting wishes, one by one,
Until the night was nearly done.

As dawn broke and the sky turned blue,
The little star bid the child adieu.
Back to its place, it flew so high,
Twinkling brightly in the morning sky.
